Retirement trip
After years of planning around workdays, a trip suddenly gets a different pace. A song about a retirement trip can celebrate that freer being on the road, with attention for a long-cherished destination and the luxury of staying a day longer somewhere.
Today nothing has to happen before Monday
The alarm stays off, the breakfast menu still lies open and the travel plan may be adjusted to the weather. Maybe an old atlas finally comes along or a familiar route is calmly redone. The trip comes first; the work past gives context, but doesn't have to determine the whole song.
Who goes on a retirement trip, where to and with whom? Tell us why this destination beckons, what is finally possible now and which travel moments are central; may a wink to the old work diary be in it?
