Hanukkah
Hanukkah knows returning evenings on which the lighting of light can be central. A song can connect with your family customs and the meaning of the feast, with attention for the precise words and rituals within your circle.
A new evening at the hanukkiah
Lights are set out, people move closer and children follow what happens this evening. Maybe games, dishes or songs belong to it that have been passed on for generations. A new text can follow one of those homely scenes, without treating Hanukkah as a variant of another winter feast or simply replacing trusted religious texts.
For which evening or gathering is the Hanukkah song meant? Which customs, dishes and forms of address belong to you, are Hebrew words desired and which religious texts or actions must remain untouched?
