New Year
Around New Year, looking back and plans often lie mixed together. A song can mark the transition with real events from the past year, without demanding everyone starts January full of good resolutions.
The last evening, the first messages
A bowl of snacks still stands on the table, the clock is checked and congratulations from another time zone appear on a phone. Between those ordinary actions lies a natural moment to look back. The lyrics can take a few events along to the turn of the year and name what you hope for, without making a prediction of it.
Which year are you closing and who celebrates together? Which events do you want to name, which wishes are alive for the new year and are there subjects that don't suit a festive look-back moment?
