Religious holiday
A religious holiday knows trusted stories and customs, but is not celebrated the same way everywhere. A song can connect with the meaning of precisely this day, from subdued reflection to the togetherness around a festive table.
What this holiday calls up for you
The preparation can begin with cooking, decorating, fasting or laying out special clothing. Only use customs that belong to this holiday and community. Connect a trusted ritual with what people celebrate or commemorate with it, so the lyrics don't get stuck in lights, food and general cosiness.
Which holiday do you celebrate, within which tradition and with whom? Share the core meaning, concrete customs and any sacred texts; is the song meant for the celebration itself or the togetherness around it?
