Song for a local community
You sometimes recognise a neighbourhood or village by a meeting place rather than a border on the map. A song for the local community can place familiar faces, new neighbours and shared places side by side.
The places where you run into each other
At the baker's people catch up, on the square chairs are set down and someone still knows the old name of the street. Choose details that really belong to this environment. Also give room to those who only just live there: a community doesn't only consist of people with the same childhood memories.
Which neighbourhood, town or village is central? Name meeting places, local words and events that connect; who must recognise themselves, and which old sensitivities do we rather leave untouched?
